So for those of you who haven’t heard, there is a great contest happening for Affiliate Summit West via ShoeMoney.com. Now I have been a lucky duck in 2010 so far – so I’m going for this one last thing for the year.
Here’s why I need to win this package based on per item needs as follows:
1) The Platinum Pass
I would like to be able to actually attend the sessions at ASW. I won a gold pass a few months ago which was really exciting, until I realized that I only get into few keynotes and not much else. Considering that a good percentage of my 2011 forecast is based off of income from affiliate earnings, I need to learn to do it right, and only sessions with experts will do so I can get some questions answered (like why I didn’t earn any affiliate commissions off of the ASW affiliate program even though I had a banner, video, etc. posted on my site).
2) Hotel and 3) Airfare
I’m going to Australia at the end of January. Anything I save on hotel and airfare (which will only be $139 if you pick me since I’m nearby and flying Southwest) will go to my chance at holding koalas, boxing with kangaroos, and other such fun stuff in Australia. Plus having some leftover cash after ASW will leave me some budget to get a souvenir for the team at ShoeMoney (requests accepted, although I can’t bring back any animal natives).
4) $2,000 for One Hand of Blackjack
I never have gambled live at the tables, but have always wanted to. What a way to pop the “live at the tables blackjack” cherry. And possibly on video even!
5) Roll with Shoemoney at ASW
I don’t know many other people going to this thing… it would be nice to have an experienced someone to get some advice from as well as introduce me to others, as I’m pretty shy and find it hard to introduce myself, but will potentially talk your ear off once I’m comfortable with you. Not in an obnoxious, all about business kind of way though – I have lots of interests outside of the Internet and like to learn about others as opposed to just talking about me.
6) A pass to the Epic Advertising Playboy Mansion Party
Not sure about this one yet… but I love parties, so I can make it work. Or I can re-gift it to someone who wants it more.
There you have it. So Jeremy & the ShoeMoney team – I hope I’ve made my case. My fingers are crossed!
